Thanks for considering Cadeting for your child.

There's something about a Christian community of young men and Christlike mentors that can have a life-changing impact on a boy's life. When we come together as "iron sharpening iron" men and purpose to meet with God, He does incredible work in and through us. The Bible testifies to this as well.

At any one of these local Illiana Cadet Council clubs, your child will experience new things, outdoor adventure, and project activities with the guidance of trained, caring counselors in safe large group and small group settings of about 6-10 boys called cadres.

Combine fun, friendships and faith, and Cadets will not only be something to look forward to week to week, but life-changing and life-shaping as well!

Some typical things your child can look forward to when he joins Cadets: camp outs, outdoor activities (camping, cycling, hiking, canoeing), Model Car Derby race competitions, Snow Derby, model rocket launch, hands-on group projects, earning individual merit badges in a wide range of interests, Super Saturday, community service, and much more!

A little history about the Corps. The Calvinist Cadet Corps is an independent (non-denominational) youth ministry organization whose purpose is to provide the local church with a ministry program that will enable them to effectively share Christ’s love with boys from their church and community. Founded in 1952, the Corps has more than 600 clubs throughout North America and brother clubs in Australia and New Zealand. We are also reaching out to boys in Africa with clubs in Kenya and Uganda. The organization uses the title “Calvinist” to honor the Protestant reformer, John Calvin, who devoted his life to the religious education of God’s children.
